At HYPE, we provide a supportive environment for new players. Our Coaches will guide athletes through the rules and fundamentals of the game to help develop a solid foundation. Water bottles, snacks, and appropriate footwear are needed. Feel free to bring your own paddle and any other Pickleball gear you'd like.
During Summer Pickleball, we will begin each session with warmups, light conditioning, and structured drills with instruction. The last half hour or so will give players the opportunity to talk and play with friends in open court. (we'll have 2 1/2 courts available)

From there, we work one by one on the most relevant strokes (Serve, Return, Third Shots, Volleys, Dinks, and Overheads). As each stroke is introduced, we explain the purpose and technique of the shot. Then, we incorporate fun drills and a game emphasizing the use of that shot.
